  • Interesting? =)

Some interesting things I've found lately...

You can go here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/ and write our President an e-mail about anything, anytime, and as often as you would like.  Nice!

There is a difference between the word "wriggle" and the word "wiggle" in children's books.  For instance, the mouse may, "wiggle in to the once space left and make itself comfortable on top of the great bear's nose" in The Mitten by Jan Brett, or bears can "wriggle their toes in fat socks" while drinking hot coco in You Can Do It Sam.  Hmmmm.  I never knew.  Am I alone in this?

Eleora can go pee pee on the potty consistently every morning after I nurse her, but doesn't quite get the whole potty concept down just yet.  She loves putting underwear on her baby, and will pat her head while saying potty right after she goes poop!  This potty training stuff is kinda fun!  Although, sometimes I wonder if all the work we're putting into it this early is really worth the time...  =)  We'll see!

Squirrels don't hibernate.  I never knew this before.  Also, did you know that there is such things a black squirrels and they live in my back yard?  I never knew this until we moved to Syracuse.  They are quite frisky too and chase after the gray squirrels.  They are so funny to watch.  Eleora loves it.  And, we don't see them too often, but an occasional red squirrel will quickly put even a black squirrel in its place!

You can freeze a fertilized egg!?  Does this mean freeze solid so no cells at all are moving or is this just freeze, like slow them down a tad.  So, everyday around our world, people are freezing and thawing babies?  And then putting them inside mothers?  I now understand why the octuplet Mom didn't want to have her fertilized eggs (babies) just thrown out.  Crazy.  What does God think about all this?

Great friends of ours are expecting their 5th child... Congratulations guys!!!

Babies are such blessings.  I wish mine would wake up from her nap soon!  Eleora Lynn...... =)

Very interesting stuff.   We have black squirrels here too.  (and I thought it was just us)  I had not seen one until we moved to Syracuse either.  It is exciting about Brietta and Daniel's baby.                           ryc:  Josh is my son who lives in Canton.  Now they are homeschooling their girls.  (I love it)
